By Train<\/h2>\n

Coming to Munich by train is a great and sustainable alternative to attend our congress. Approximately 250 long-distance trains and 500 local trains run every day from the Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof). It connects all German and European cities to the Bavarian State Capital.<\/p>\n

By Plane<\/h2>\n

The airport in Munich is called Franz Josef Strauss (MUC).
\nThe S1 and S8 S-Bahn lines connects every 10 minutes the airport to the city centre.
\nThe S1 travels via the west of the city and the S8 via the east.

Public Transport Pass<\/h2>\n

Tickets are also available from the numerous ticket machines and ticket offices in the train\/U-bahn stations.<\/p>\n

Which ticket to purchase<\/em><\/p>\n

Messe M\u00fcnchen is located in Zone M, i.e. tickets for Zone M are required for journeys from the city of Munich or from the main railway station to the trade fair centre. For journeys from the airport to the trade fair, tickets for the area of validity Zone M – 5 (Munich Airport is located in Zone 5) are required. The AirportPLUS-Ticket is valid in the area of validity Zone M – 6.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n

Due to construction works, there will be timetable changes with diversions, stop cancellations and rail replacement services between Ostbahnhof<\/strong> and Pasing<\/strong> every Saturday and Sunday from 27 January to 2 June 2024 (4 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Deutsche Bahn who is responsible for the S-Bahn transport system, will inform on their platforms about further rail replacement service during the disruptions (S-Bahn M\u00fcnchen – MVV-Fahrplan, Bahn Tickets, MVV-Tickets und mehr (s-bahn-muenchen.de)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Underground (U-Bahn) and busses will run in parallel according to schedules. <\/strong>
\nWe strongly advise to plan journeys mainly by underground (U-Bahn).<\/strong><\/p>\n
